The experience we bring as a duo, allows us to excel in our strengths of delivering Great Tasting Food and Event Management. We have two bases - Shropshire and North Cambridgeshire so we can really span across the country & are happy to travel nationally and internationally (subject to conversation).

Head Chef - Events Manager
I founded L&J out of the want to help bring a little joy to peoples lives during the start of 2020 as a side business. We continued to grow until being able to go full time in 2022. Now I am excited we can offer increased availability & flexibility allowing us to reach more people.
My background began in Silver service events as a teen and then into Hospitality. I also have broad range of knowledge of cuisines from my time traveling Europe and East Asia. Over the past 5 years I have built a strong career in food Manufacturing and have rich and in-depth knowledge surrounding food safety management. In recent years I have been part of the development teams creating food products for many well known supermarkets and brands. This has lead me to want ownership of the products I create and bring them to all of you to enjoy.

In my personal life I am heavily involved in an outdoor women's adventure group - 'Wild Wanderers Women' & as such organise and lead events across the country. The biggest achievement to date was being 1 of 4 women that planned and organised our first festival which was a huge success. This is where I have really learnt my passion and ability for event management.

Let's start off by saying I'm Jade's number one fan. I've supported her since she first started 'Door Stop Drop Desserts' (which is what L & J started as) back in 2020. From my support we decided to join together and create what is now L & J Catering and Events.
My Career in food started 14 years ago when I started working in retail and worked myself up to management level. I then became the manager of various Fresh departments such as Bakery & The Delicatessens. It was during this time period I found my passion and interest in the technical aspect of food.
This is my way of saying I leave Jade to do all the cooking, whilst I do the back ground work.

In the future I would like to branch out to supporting charities to feed the homeless & various food bank companies such as FareShare.
